Fuel Breakfast Church Market

Enjoyed the day on Saturday - thank you to the fantabulous organisers. Nice admosphere, wonderful hosts and lots of other amazingly creative stall holders too! As well as being able to share some of the stuff I love doing I really enjoyed the social side of the market, catching up with friends and people I haven't seen for ages as well as meeting others.
I was pleased I stayed up late the morning before the market creating photo holders as my first purchaser saw 8 of them being sold! I spent some time that morning making more cards to go in some birthday organisers - one of these sold too. Very cool. Thanks again for being invited to the Fuel Breakfast Church's Market.

Little House Kits

My children love making 3D stuff and these little house kits I have put together are perfect. I have seen them bring out their little animals and people for make-believe towns. Very cute. In a $5 kit you get a pre cut and 'scored' (for folding) house with adhesive tabs and a series of adhesive roof strips all ready to put together and a little tree to do with what you want! My chidlren painted their little houses while flat before sticking together (the youngest one needed assistance to fold & stick accurately). Next they added the roof tiles. Two of them decided to 'curl' their tiles by putting a pencil end in the centre of each scallop then using their fingers to 'pull up' the paper around it. The houses are between 10 and 15 cm high.

Cards

Kia ora
On Saturday I was in Henley where Denise had a 'buy n sell' at her place. I was able to take some craft stuff to sell there too. Loved seeing other peoples creativity and watching mum do a colours demonstration too. There was a bit of interest in my 'stuff' and until I get a chance to photograph what was left I'm just putting this collage up as a 'filler'.
Cards were $4 each or $15 for 5 cards.

Lynley & I will be also at the Winton Market on November 7th.

The Travel Version

Instead of one for cards...why not have one for memorabilia and notes to quickly put in place as you travel? Whether it be a family holiday to the beach or the big 'OE'..you can jot notes on the cards on the journal, on pieces of paper and post them in the pockets, keep brochures and tickets in one place and even have a pocket for each day or place you visit.

Card Organiser

Love this concept!
Instead of just being for birthday cards this has labelled pockets for keeping a few of your cards....for birthday's, thanks, sympathy...this way you know if you need to make a few more of a card for a certain purpose! Would be great for a gift too, especially if you added in some of your own handmade cards!

'The List' pads

These are cute books that can be so easily held in your hands and are perfect for one column lists - like shopping ones :-) Sturdy chipboard front and back covers gives you a great surface to cross stuff off when you are wandering around the supermarket....or any other place you need to take lists!

1 3/4 inches wide and 7 1/2 inches long

Sold all except one of the list pads I had made for the Autumn Festival Market day in Arrowotown this year and have only just made another batch!

Journals

Made some more hand cut & bound journals.
Also had a go at using this process for a smaller size with more pages...3 x 5 inch mini's were the result.

You can purchase my journals (and some cards) at Southern Rata. They are in the bookshop section.
